Välkommen till Pucišca, Brac
Brac is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. It's best known for the white-pebble beach Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape), a favored windsurfing site outside the resort town of Bol. Supetar, the island's main town, offers a horseshoe-shaped beach and ferries to and from Split. Seaside Pucišca features traditional architecture and an active quarry for the island's famous white limestone.

Allmänt om området
Living on Brac, the largest island in central Dalmatia, Croatia, offers a unique blend of natural beauty, traditional culture, and a relaxed lifestyle. Known for its white pebble beaches, crystal-clear Adriatic waters, and the famous Brac stone used in buildings around the world, the island provides a picturesque setting for residents. Here are some important aspects to consider if you're thinking about moving to Brac:
Natural Beauty: Brac is celebrated for its stunning landscapes, including rugged terrain, olive groves, and vineyards, alongside beautiful beaches such as Zlatni Rat near Bol, which is often highlighted as one of the most spectacular in the Adriatic.
Climate: The island enjoys a Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and mild, wet winters. This climate is ideal for enjoying the outdoors and is especially appealing to those from colder or more temperate climates.
Communities and Lifestyle: Brac is dotted with several small towns and villages. The largest town, Supetar, serves as the island's administrative center and offers the most in terms of services and amenities. Other towns like Bol, Milna, and Sutivan offer a quieter way of life with their own unique charms. The lifestyle here is generally laid-back and community-oriented.
Kommunikation
Regular ferry services connect Brac to the mainland, particularly the city of Split, making it relatively easy to access. The island also has a small airport near Bol, offering seasonal flights to select destinations. Within the island, public transportation exists but owning a car is beneficial for convenience and full exploration of the island.
