Hum Istria

The house is a protected building and was renovated in 2004 with the help and supervision of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia.

The house consists of two parts, eastern and western, connected by a passage that can be opened if necessary. There are a total of 10 rooms with the possibility of conversion into four more rooms, three bathrooms with toilets, two kitchens with a dining room and two balcony areas.

The eastern part of the house has three floors. The ground floor consists of an office space with two rooms and a bathroom with a toilet. The stairs lead to the first floor where there are two rooms, a hallway, a bathroom with a toilet and a wooden balcony with a fireplace. This floor leads to the north side of the street. The second floor includes a large room with a fireplace, a dining room and a kitchen with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape and the historic center of the city. From the north side of the second floor, there is a baroque balustrade with a balcony and an original bread oven from the baroque period.

The western part of the house also consists of two parts, one east and one west, which are connected by a passage that can be opened if necessary. There are a total of 10 rooms on three floors, but the entrance is only from the north side. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and dining room with an original French fireplace and a room with a view of the main town square. This space can be used as a business space, and previously served as a small restaurant and cafe. The stairs lead to the first floor, where there is a large room and a bathroom with a toilet decorated with Italian ceramics. There is also a partition wall on the first floor that can be removed to connect the east and west parts of the house. On the second floor of the western part, there are two rooms, one of which offers a beautiful view of Ucka, and the other of the town square, the town hall and the Church of the Assumption.
